Your SkinAngel was created by Mariam Badavi, a mum of three and skincare professional, to help parents and children understand skin health in a calm, caring and educational way.

As both a parent and skincare specialist, Mariam understands how confusing it can be for families to find honest, practical advice especially around sun protection, teenage skincare and confidence. Your SkinAngel brings that support together through simple explanations, helpful books designed to make skincare feel easy and achievable for everyone.

My goal is to make sure every child grows up understanding how to protect their skin from sunshine to screen time while also feeling confident in who they are. Through my books, & school visits I am proud to help parents, teachers and children learn about looking after their skin with kindness, awareness and care.

I also understand that some children experience sensory sensitivities or find certain textures challenging, and my stories reflect this through characters like Finn showing that everyone has their own preferences and comfort levels, and that’s perfectly ok.

Proceeds from The Big Sunny Adventure support SKCIN (The Karen Clifford Skin Cancer Charity), helping young people and families who need it most. Thank you for visiting and being part of this journey.
